Food Matrix Lab students showcased their research at the National Conference on “Emerging Innovations in Biochemistry and Biotechnology for Holistic Development of Agriculture” held on March 6-7, 2025, at SKUAST-Jammu. The event was organized by SKUAST-Jammu, SPBB, and ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, bringing together leading experts and researchers in the field.
On National Science Day 2025, Dr. Veda Krishnan, participated as a panelist in a dynamic discussion hosted by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) under the theme "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Technology for Viksit Bharat."
Dr. Veda Krishnan attended the UKRI India High Tea Reception at the British High Commission, New Delhi, on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. She represented INYAS as the International Lead, strengthening UK-India research collaborations.
Empowering Women in STEM: IISF 2024. Dr. Veda Krishnan was a distinguished panelist at **IISF 2024 – Nari Shakti**, contributing to the *"Women Pioneers in STEM"* discussion alongside esteemed scientists. Her insights and journey continue to inspire the next generation of women in science!

He received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 56th Nutrition Society of India Annual National Conference on "Transdisciplinary Approaches in Addressing Nutrition Challenges", organized in collaboration with the International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS) and INSA.

He also won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the International Conference on "Biotechnology – The Way Forward" (ICBWF-2024), hosted by the Department of Biotechnology, University of Kerala.
